Community Benefit Fund

As part of the Tophams Solar Farm project, we are committed to supporting the local community. Our Community Benefit Fund provides local groups and organisations with financial support to deliver positive local initiatives.

The fund is designed to support projects that:

  • Enhance local facilities and infrastructure

  • Promote education, training, or skill development

  • Encourage environmental sustainability and conservation

  • Improve well-being and strengthen community cohesion

Investing in the Community
The fund is expected to provide £5,000 per year, index-linked to ensure it maintains its value over time. This equates to £200,000 over 40 years, providing a long-term, meaningful contribution to the local community.

How to Apply
The fund is administered through ActionFunder, making it easy to apply and manage projects online. Local community groups and organisations can submit applications via the platform, providing details of the project, the intended benefits, and the funding required.

Applications are reviewed regularly, and successful projects are selected based on their potential impact, feasibility, and alignment with community priorities.
